Juan Cistóbal Peña was a born in Santiago ofChile in 1969, Is journalist, teacher ofnarrative and write. He is Director ofthe School ofJournalism at the UniversityAlberto Hurtado. He studied journalism atthe University of Diego Portales.He is the author of the books:“Celia:La vida en llamas” (2002),“Los fusileros” (2007) and “La secreta vida literariade Augusto Pinochet” (2013).He has worked in the magazines El Mercurio, La Hora, La Naciónand La Tercera,and collaborated in Rolling Stone magazine.He was investigative journalist “Ciper”.He received the Lorenzo Narali Grand Prizefrom the European UnionDevelopment Commission (2005), the Alberto Hurtado UniversityExcellenceJournalism Award (2004), The New Journalism Foundation (2007).He writes about contingent issues but also conducts major research on past issues,mainly related to the period of dictatorship that was experienced in Chile.The way to raise your ideas and your research is something I like,reading your books is possible to get involved with the story and understandwhat happened in the past.I hope your read some of his books or articles!
